Skills of a Succesfull Board Manager
- Ability to run KPI and Board Meetings.
- Ability to act as a sounding board for ownership and a to be a true liaison between ownership & management.
- Ability to interface with Portfolio company Presidents and other key members of executive team in a coaching capacity.
- Ability to read KPI reports as well as Financial Statements or other types of financial reporting tools/reports.
- Ability to work with BizGro Finance/Accounting in order to spot problems and/or opportunities early so that executive teams can make adjustments.
- Ability to conduct productive onsite visits with executive teams and provide feedback to ownership.
- Ability to mediate problems and concerns between ownership and management.
- Ability to facilitate initial business planning sessions and annual planning sessions.
- Ability to help executive teams execute business plans that are created by management & ownership.
